Cannot define WEP key with lower case alpha values

In Wavelink SE version 5.3.0.572, we are trying to define a lower case WEP key as part of a network profile that manages WLAN settings for our devices, but the Key 1 field automatically converts any alpha values to uppercase letters. The customer has all his wireless access points and SSID's configured to use a lower case WEP key. Is there a way to define lower case keys for WEP in the network profile?
