My Client has Honeywell CT50 units running KitKat and wants the device's sleep mode disabled. From what I know of Android, you can only set sleep mode from 30 seconds to 30 minutes and possible disable it while charging if you use developer mode. I see that applications do have the ability to keep a session from timing out (like Map/Navigation applications). Is this a feature that is available or might be a good feature to add some time in the future?

Unchecked box "turn off device if not used for"
How can I unchecked the "turn off device if not used for" box in the registry.
I tried the battSuspendTimeout below but device keep turning off if it is not in used.

Good morning,
is there a possibility to scroll up and down my screen when i'm using a wavelink 5250 emulation ?
I can't use any combination of keys or the up/down specific keys.

Text Goes Off Screen - Wavelink, Produce Pro
Hey everyone,
I've been having this issue with my MC9190s and MC92N0s for awhile now and I still haven't figured it out.
Basically we run using Produce Pro and the text seems to be running off the screen. I'm not allowed to take the simple route of just enabling the horizontal scroll.
Here's what going on:
As you can see, the text cuts off at 2. There is more after this. Look below: (All I did to get it all to display for this picture is take the text down to 11 rather than having it at 13, however its far to small.)
It doesn't just change the login screen, it happens all through the software. It's super hard for them to do their job when this is happening. Any ideas?

RDP for Windows CE6 - TelnetCE - Enabler - AvalancheMC
Hi, I've recently discovered hosting our Web based WMS on a Terminal Server optimizes device performance by 2 times.
Device specs:
Moto MC9190
Windows CE6
OEM 04.37
Enabler 5.3-46
To achieve this, my solution is to add a RDP shortcut on the Wavelink Enabler which will start the session to the terminal server.
Problems:
-CE6 is not designed to save RDP credentials after a cold boot (There is no way around this). I need auotmatic login for compliance reasons.
-A warm boot will sometimes erase the RDP credentials too. So this is my main road block.
Questions:
-Does anyone have experience with using RDP on Windows Mobile devices?
-Is it possible to configure Telnet Client Emulator to act as a Remote Desktop connection to connect to a server?
All I need it seems is to have a web page hosted on resources external from the Mobile device. The MC9190 does not have the resources optimally run a WMS web session.
-Once you think you have thought outside the box, you must think outside that box.
I'm open to questions.

Automatically move devices from one folder to another based on their IP change.
HI, we have 1000 Zebra MC 40s.
We are managing them all in a single folder -- which is a little too much.
I have created 4 site folders ( pre entered their LAT AND LONG and created a enrollment criteria with their ip range).
I manually moved all the devices to that folder, but I would like to automate the maintenance of that.
The scope of our setup:
We have 4 Different Locations that these devise go between. They are all on the same network but different subnets ( ip-range).
on Avalanche 6.1
is it possible to set it up so that of a device leaves SITE A and pulls a IP from SITE B that it automatically moves it self to the folder for SITE B.
We use a automated deployment process and it would be great if there was a way to create a rule in the default folder so that if a device has this IP range then the devices goes to this site.
I know I may be asking something that is not possible but if anyone has any ideas of how to make this work -- I would really appreciate it.

Clearing an x-wait message
I have TelnetCE 7.3 running 5250 emulation on Intermec CK71 handhelds and Telnet 7.3 running the same emulation on Honeywell VM3 Windows 7 forklift computers. If a user runs across an X-wait message on the CK71, they press Esc to clear it and go on their merry way. But if a user gets an X-wait message on a VM3, the only way out of it is to close the session. I've checked diagnostics and both devices are show the same 001B scan code when pressing ESC. So, how do you clear an X-wait message on Telnet 7.3 for Windows 7? Thanks.
EDIT: working more with this issue, it seems ESC does clear most X-wait messages, but there are some it won't clear, and the only way out is to close the session.

SAP ITS Mobile on Honeywell CT50 Windows 10 IoT Mobile Enterprise and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

We are facing some problems, with Honeywell CT50 and Wavelink TE.
1) There isn’t a version for CT50 and the universal emulator for Windows 10 can not be installed on CT50 Windows 10IoT Mobile Enterprise.
2) We have installed a universal emulator for Android that we have downloaded from play store. Has someone experience with SAP ITS Mobile on Android OS?

Velocity TE - how to map keys for MC92N0 / keys not working.
We need to remap some keys for the MC92N0 to match application functionality in a TE / VT220 emulator. I see that there is a ReplaceKey script in the LIbrary as an example, but it doesn't seem to work even when I hard code keyscan values. Is there a different/easier way?

Connection Issue MC2180 TE-Client 7.3.197 + TermProxy 4.01
Hello,
One of our customers faces an connection issue with his Motorola MC2180 using TE-Client 7.3.197 and TermProxy 4.01 (on Windows Server) with an 5250-connection. On the mobile device a "sandclock" and "X-WAIT" is displayed in some situations and in many cases only a warm boot of the device solves this problem. The problem can occure in different situations:
- mobile device is inactive for a longer periode of time (30 minutes till 2 hours), user initiates session, error occures
- user terminates session, initiates a new session, error occures
In some situations the "sandclock" only appears a few seconds and the user can continue.
The mobile devices are configured with an always-active WLAN connection, there is no physical connection issue.
The AS400-host indicates no error.
The customer uses MC95 in the same configuration an there are no such issues.
Do you have any idea where to search for the problem?

Velocity Web Emulation - No POST Functionality ?
I am using the Velocity Client with a Web project loaded version: 1.2.0.2741.
I mapped my custom website and when I try to POST a login the page will just refresh. I verified from the server that there is no POST even attempted from this client device (Zebra WT6000).
I am curious what web browser behinds the scene is this Velocity application using to render the pages and does it support POST functionality? I havent tried any other REST methods, but this is concerning the page reloads everytime I attempt a login.
I tried digging through documentation on some guidelines/best practices, but I couldn't find anything related to the web portion of the software.
As a test I pointed the project to google.com and attempted a login and I got this "Connection Error" for checking a cookie, then the app crashes. The applications goes back to the "Host Profiles" screen. This might be something unrelated or it might correlate with my issue.
I also pointed the stock web browser on the device and I am able to login just fine without any issues, so something is telling me that the Velocity application is the culprit.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Barcode Scan Outputs Special Characters Instead of Numbers
Hello,
We have 2 mobile computer scanners that are behaving oddly. If we make a remote desktop connection to the terminal server of our vendor software, if we scan within that software, the string returned does not match the expected value; it appears to turn some numbers into special characters, and the order of characters has been changed. In one example, a barcode with string "U558220345" gets output as "5582@)#$U%". The scan returns normal when I am not inside the remote connection. I contacted the vendor about this; their rep said that, while they have seen this problem before, the issue is not with their software, but with the configuration of the scanner.
I see that the Avalanche has a "Scan Config" menu item, but I'm not familiar with Avalanche at all, and I'm trying to find a way to determine why the barcode data is being "scrambled" as it is. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Play beep sound
Hi,
I tried two options to play a beep sound when an error occurs in SAP ITS mobile.
1. BGSOUND
2. IDA_BEEP.
Both did not play the beep sound on the velocity browser on Intermec CK71 RF device. But, both played the sound when I used the internet explorer on Intermec CK71 RF device!
Please let me know if need to use something else to play sound.
