Is there a way to display telnet negotiation string on screen on Zebra MC9190G mobile device ?
If you see file profiles.dat there is parameter telnet_negotiation_string.
Idea is to display value of telnet_negotiation_string on first screen when session connects.
Can it be done using key combination (as displaying MAC and IP address using key combination <Alt>+P)?
Version of TE is 7.3.
Emulation type is VT100.

When device tries to connect to Agent the error unlicensed message pops up on the Enabler on device.
I have read the document about this subject (Version 2 - 5 Nov 2013)
I verified all the causes/solutions and we don't match wich none
The Avalanche SE version is 5.0.0.278
The Avalanche Enabler version is 4.09-03 (same version for the old or new devices)
Only the fact that only the "old" (bought August 2011) mobile devices get this error
the new one (bought Sept 2012) doesn't have this error
Do we have a "Best before date" to update the mobiles ?

We are using the Wavelink TE industrial browser.
I'd like to know how to handle the browser error 400.
This happens when a user's logon has timed out in SAP.
I would like to have the scanner go back to the site that is configured in the host profile.
Right now it stays on the error screen.
We have the browser menu hidden, so the only way for the user to get back to the URL in the host profile is to re-boot the device.
There is an option in the emualtion coniguration to re-direct the user to a URL if there is a 404 error.
Is it possible to do something like this when tere is a 400 error?

Need to install customer application to the above Intermec CK3X device. Customer application is cabbed up but does not automatically install.
Would anyone be able to suggest method to install this cab automatically on this intermec device? I was thinking create package(via package builder) and use the wceload.exe cmd in the post install script. But, wceload.exe is not visible on the device so not sure if this will work or not. i do know there is another method with intermec devices where you can copy the cab to the flashfilestore\cabfiles folder and reboot the device. this installs the cab file successfully. not sure how to code this in the package builder. any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.
Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).
My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.
I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.
The manual found on this page does not help either:

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?
Scan Terminator is also \0D:
I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have any idea that i'm doing wrong?

Hi,
I tried two options to play a beep sound when an error occurs in SAP ITS mobile.
1. BGSOUND
2. IDA_BEEP.
Both did not play the beep sound on the velocity browser on Intermec CK71 RF device. But, both played the sound when I used the internet explorer on Intermec CK71 RF device!
Please let me know if need to use something else to play sound.

Dear all,
I would like to know if anyone has made a new install of Avalanche 6.2?
I've attempted this on my PC (Windows 8.1 SQL Server 2012 existing SQL instance) and also Win server 2012 and SQL server - a new machine with nothing installed on it - just Windows server - on which I installed SQL server 2012 and created new instance.
On both machines, the installation is done, during it, Ava install asks for DB connection credential and server which are on the same machine, creates Avalanche Databases.
When installation finished, it's not possible to launch http console; Enterprise server service is stopped, and eache time we try to start is, it fall dows after few seconds with the following error in the logs (colored red):

after the installation of Avalanche 6.2 (SQL 2014 (SQL user: DB creator role) ) the Enterprise service does not work.
In the log of the Enterprise server I see the following error:

hello everyone, i have been searching the forums and im sorry if this has already been answered, but i must ask again.
We have a Fleet of about 1000 Zebra MC40 Android Devices.
We had a 3rd party vendor use stage now to image the devices and install a android application on the device.
We finally needed to upgrade that application to a newer version, so we packaged the apk and pushed it out and the upgrade went great..
Unfortunately the software was extremely unstable and we had to back out.
We disabled the profile that we built for a small test group of devices and then tried to push back out the older version but it would not install.
Im guessing because the new version that was on the device is 5.4 and the old version is 5.0
Based on what i read online android by default doesn't allow a unattended down grade.
we had to go back and re image said devices but i would like to know if anyone has ran into this and if they have a potential solution in case we run into it again.

I got the request form our users that they want to use as little buttons as possible as they are scanning. We have a screen where there are two barcode fields that need to be scanned. Now the scanner is configured that it is able to scan a code, give a field exit and then scan another barcode and give another field exit. Then it needs to display information that corresponds with those two bar-codes but right now they have to press Enter (which has the field exit command under it) to get that information displayed. Is it possible to configure it as such that if that field is selected it automatically gives another field exit? Or perhaps that that specific field is given a field exit after the two fields are filled so that the information is displayed.

Does anyone have any experience with Avalanche 5.3 installing on an MC9190 running windows ce using windows 10 Fall Creator update?
We can't seem to figure this out and Zebra doesn't seem to know what has broke after the fall creator update.
A VC6090 running windows mobile works fine. I did get this working once. But after a reboot the MC9190 doesn't even show up in device manager when I place it in the cradle.
Any thoughts would be great.

I've been having this issue with my MC9190s and MC92N0s for awhile now and I still haven't figured it out.
Basically we run using Produce Pro and the text seems to be running off the screen. I'm not allowed to take the simple route of just enabling the horizontal scroll.
Here's what going on:
As you can see, the text cuts off at 2. There is more after this. Look below: (All I did to get it all to display for this picture is take the text down to 11 rather than having it at 13, however its far to small.)
It doesn't just change the login screen, it happens all through the software. It's super hard for them to do their job when this is happening. Any ideas?
I need to replace a <GS> (group separator) when I scan a GS1-128 barcode by a "]" character. How can I do that using terminal config from Wavelink Industrial Browser?
I'm trying to find a way to easily deploy MC3200's running Windows CE6 that only connect to 5GHz without needing to touch each device individually. I thought it might be possible to push out a .reg file that disables the 2.4 band as an option, but I haven't been able to come up with anything. And I don't see any options for band selection in the Enabler config. We're also looking at doing this from the wireless controller side, but I want to explore all of our options before making any changes. Does anyone have experience with this who can help? The only way I know of doing this is to manually disable the 2.4GHz band in the wireless options on each MC3200. If I can automate it in anyway, that would be great.
I'm using TelnetCE 7.3 with app center. When I go into TelnetCE, I lose the taskbar which contained the config menus.
So I can't change config or even exit the program. I'm force to cold boot to exit TelnetCE. I'm do not have any
options in the 'options' tab checked, so nothing should be hidden. How can I get it back?
