We have purchased several WT41N0 devices in the last 4 months. It seems like ALL of them are having issues with the telnet client in some way or another. The user will be in the middle of a telnet session and them emulator suddenly closes. OR, another issue is the scanner. The user will be using the emulator and the scanner suddenly quits working. Exiting and going back into the emulator fixes it.
Has anyone had these troubles and how did you fix?

I have problem with new demo Motorola Device Mobile Terminal WT41N0 (Windows CE 7.0) with new vesion 7.3.153 of Wavelink Telnet emulation.I can not be able to scann when I am in Telnet emulation.The scanner is working in Windows normaly but when I am in Telnet it is just not working proparly.The scanner have scanner lane but it is not giving me any resault of scanning.please if somebody have some idea let me know.

Ran into an issue this past weekend when our velocity server crashed, all devices started using the direct connect to host as planned.
However, once to the host (SAP), users would input their login credential and get stuck when they press logon.
I was able to replicate this on my laptop using a Velocity client and received the script error below.
Anyone have any ideas?

What is the best method for editing the Emulation Parameters that are stored in the TERMCFG.bin file on the device manually? In other words, I would like to be able to dynamically edit a few emulation parameters on a device on the fly, without the intervention of an Avalanche server package update or cradling the device. If I manually open the .BIN it appears that I can manually edit some information in the file that is stored in plain text, provided that the information that I replace is the same length as the original information.
I would definitely prefer to use a cleaner method however. Is there a good way to decrypt the information in the .BIN using VB .NET?

We are experiencing some trouble with our Wavelink Avalanche 5.3 server: We use the TelnetCE application package and push that to our Psion VH10f terminals. In that package is also the URL to where the industrial browser should go. When changing the URL to a new one the server deleted that package from all our terminals and marked the package as "orphaned". Nothing else but that URL was changed to the application package. When i open the list (see screenshot) of orphaned packages to delete, the industrial browser package is in the list.
I found out that there are 3 reasons why a package would become "orphaned":
* if it has been deleted from the Avalanche Console,
* if the software profile it belongs to has been disabled,
* or if the package has been disabled.
Well i checked and confirmed all 3 situations:
The package "criteria" is also an correct since it has always worked, didn't change and i double checked if it is correct at this moment.
Does anybody have a clue why the server is claiming it to be "Orphaned" or is there any way to force the server into believing that that package shouldn't be "orphaned". We also tried rebooting the server but the problem persists although it shouldn't be orphaned.

I'm setting up a TelnetCE emulation of the AS400 of my company, but I have a problem :
My main goal is to have clickable text where I want to. I've read about the syntax in the emulation parameters (like F(number)=*** or [***]) but when I setup the menu like that in the AS400, the TelnetCE interpretor put some "<" and ">" at the beginning and the end of my text, which makes it not clickable.
Where does that come from ?

I have a Datalogic Elf with WM6.5, and Wavelink 7.3.125 with Web emulation.
I have to add a macro, to make Enter key do a Tab key plus enter key.
I found the correct key, and added the macro (000D:\0009\000D ).
In the terminal, if I call the keyboard diagnostic test and press Enter on terminal, correctly it says there's a macro for it.
But in runtime, pressing enter the macro does not work.
Another strange thing is if I call the emulation keyboard (options - view - emulation keyboard) in runtime and then click on Enter (on the emulation keyboard), the macro works!
If i press Enter on terminal the macro does not work.

I've been playing 'it must be the other software's fault' with our Wavelink Vendor and WMS Vendor with regards to this issue.
I've got 25 RF guns using Wavelink TelnetCE to connect to our WMS (which is running on Red Hat Linux). The RF guns first login to the Linux Server (all using the same username/password), then login to the WMS (using different username/passwords). If I don't go through a proxy server, everything works fine.
Once I configure the RF guns to go through the ConnectPro Proxy Server (which is installed on the same server), I can see the 'Client Connections (active):' field slowly increase to 10, at which point when the 11th RF gun tries to connect, I get a 'connection error' message on the RF gun.
I've looked at the iptables in linux, which had no entries, so nothing is limiting it there. I disabled the iptables just in case there's some sort of default. Made no difference.
I've tried using different logins for logging into the Linux Server. Made no difference.
I cannot find anything anywhere that would be causing the ConnectPro software to max out at 10 connections.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

but it doesn't work.
In the enabler I have added this registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wavelink Unified Network Interface\DDI
"CountryCode"=FR ( and I have also tried FRA )
but the country code never change
The only thing that is works is the 802.11d and the wireless profile

How can I limit it to a device group, the same way as on a built in report.?

I have configured Enabler v5.3-40 but when I transfer the configuration on my WT4090, the WT is not configured ( no wireless profile and no options)
but on WT41N0 it's works fine

I'm trying the demo version of the Telnet CE client in a M3 Mobile Sky device.
The scanner works properly with other aplications (for example the Word Mobile), but when I launch the terminal emulation it doesn't works (there is no response when pressing the scanner buttons)
I would appreciate any help you would provide.
