Velocity Web Insert
I am using the Web Insert script from the library in Velocity Version 1.2 to insert an IDA Beep. While this script works well I noticed that when the android device is power cycled or goes into sleep mode and then resumed, the script stops working. To get it working again I have to manually terminate the web host session and then connect it again for the script to work. Is there a way to prevent this from happening or at least automate the manual process?

I am unable to get the Caps Lock to work in Wavelink for Android using MC9200
I have a brand new MC92N0-GA0SYEAA6WR with Android. I am using Wavelink Terminal Emulation Version 2.0.16.4933
This is one of the first Android versions of the MC9200 that we have purchased. We hope to switch to these and move away from the Windows CE devices we have used exclusively. I am working to get the Android device operational in our environment and we require that the caps lock be engaged at all times when in Wavelink. I went to configure the emulation parameters and made sure Initial Caps Lock State was checked. I restarted Wavelink to have that change take effect, but when our login screen comes up, it is still all in lower case. I went back into the emulation parameters and saw that the change I made was still there. I decided to also check Initial Caps Lock State under VT Emulation. This still resulted in all lower case. I checked out one of our Windows handhelds and confirmed where I thought the Caps Lock was toggled in the Configuration Tool on my laptop. However, I was unable to find a location in the Wavelink software on the handheld where Caps Lock was toggled. Our Windows devices do work though. Caps is always engaged. I am not sure what I am missing with the Android device. Is this something that simply cannot be changed in the Wavelink client? Any help would be appreciated. I found out we have 55 of these Android handhelds on order so I need to find a solution.

TelnetCE License MC9060-G (pre-installed recovery?)
Hello,
I had a preinstalled TelnetCE license on a Symbol handheld device that was sent off for repair. When we received the device back from repair, the os had been flashed and reinstalled so the pre-installed license is no longer there, and TelnetCE only works in demo mode. Is there a way to correct this issue since the device should still have a valid license for the TelnetCE?

RFID Tag Read from SAP ITS mobile

Motorola WT4090 telnet session shows Not ready Hit R to reprint ENTER to continue message
Hi All,
Hope you are well. It is my first post/question in this forum and I am not sure if you will be able to help me with this one but it is worth a try. Currently on five Motorola WT4090 devices we are getting an extra message which is not sent from the software that we use for day to day tasks (JDA 2013). No other Motorola devices show this information. I have checked wave link telnet for host client settings and was able to change message by changing details on printer tab in session settings but I do not have a clue how to suppress/ get rid of it. I have attached some pictures, hope they will be helpful.

F5 function key is not working in SAP ITS screens
Hi experts,
We are using SAP ITS RF and wavelink browser on intermec CK3x devices. We are having an issue with F5 function key. When F5 is hit, the screen just refreshes and it does not do the intended action. It looks like the key code "F5" is not being recognized by ITS template.
In the ITS template, we have maintained the following meta tag for "F5".
<META HTTP-Equiv="OnKeydispatch0x74" content="Javascript:setFKey('5');">
The keyboard test gives the following key codes for "F5".
F5 = 3F00 under the keyboard test
F5 = 0074 under the windows keyboard test
Am I missing something.?

Velocity TE - how to map keys for MC92N0 / keys not working.
We need to remap some keys for the MC92N0 to match application functionality in a TE / VT220 emulator. I see that there is a ReplaceKey script in the LIbrary as an example, but it doesn't seem to work even when I hard code keyscan values. Is there a different/easier way?

What program can be used to load the WaveLink Telnet CE Web browser from a Windows 10 PC? I have been using Windows Mobile Device Center from Windows 7 pc's but it is not supported on Windows 10.

Wavelink TelnetCE User agent parameter.
I am setting up multiple different RF devices using the Wavelink industrial browsers.
The devices all have different physical screen sizes.
So I would like to add the parameter called WEB User Agent to distinguish between the different devices.
The problem is that I am unsure how to then get my server to recognize these different identifiers to output the correct screen layout.
Is there a specific piece of code that I need t add to either my devices or my server to output the correct display?

SAP time out error 400
Hello,
We are using the Wavelink TE industrial browser.
I'd like to know how to handle the browser error 400.
This happens when a user's logon has timed out in SAP.
I would like to have the scanner go back to the site that is configured in the host profile.
Right now it stays on the error screen.
We have the browser menu hidden, so the only way for the user to get back to the URL in the host profile is to re-boot the device.
There is an option in the emualtion coniguration to re-direct the user to a URL if there is a 404 error.
Is it possible to do something like this when tere is a 400 error?

Can you limit the number of devices a user can enroill with?
We are looking at implementing MDM but our network admins are wanting to put some stipulations on items.
One being can we limit the number of devices that a single user can enroll once they have the tiny URL?
also wondering how other companies are using wavelink and certificates? We want to try and tie in some kind of two factor certificate or wireless settings i am curious how others are handling the devices connecting to their internal networks

MC9100's unable to use Scan to Config
I am attempting to install the Avalanche enabler (5.3) onto MC9100 devices without applying any network settings during a network migration. The idea is to be able to test that the devices work as expected on the current network and then have a quick way to apply the new network settings, test that the devices are working as expected on the new network, but then also have a quick solution to migrate back to the old network should something go wrong.
I do an Install Only on the device but when I go into the scan to config within the Avalanche enabler, I can only scan one bar code successfully. Subsequent barcodes will not scan and I have tried this on multiple scanners. Is there something I am missing? This works fine with the SYM9090 models..
