Hello,

I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.

Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).

My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.

I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.

The manual found on this page does not help either:

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?

Scan Terminator is also \0D:

I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.

Does anyone have any idea that i'm doing wrong?

The scanner is a Motorola MC9090 with WIndows Mobile 5.1

If you are having issues configuring Packages in Avalanche 6.X using Chrome it is likely due to the fact that as of Chrome Version 42, NPAPI is no longer supported by default.

Enabling NPAPI in Chrome Version 42 and later

As of Chrome Version 42, an additional configuration step is required to continue using NPAPI plugins.

In your URL bar, enter:

chrome://flags/#enable-npapi

Click the Enable link for the Enable NPAPI configuration option.

Click the Relaunch button that now appears at the bottom of the configuration page.

I have seen the 'delay enabler auto start' document:

I cant seem to get this to work. I am using the

StartupDelay:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wavelink\Avalanche] "StartupDelay"="dword:1388"

This registry causes a delay by adding setting X number of milliseconds (up to a minute) in AvaInit.exe before launching the Monitor.exe.

Is the key value Decimal or Hex??#

I need around 30 seconds of delay to try and resolve a problem with Psion WorkaboutPro G3 that starts 'Total Recall' on a cold reset (there is no .PFL Total Recall clone file being used so the utility times out eventually) but this appears to be preventing the enabler from launching and executing a client application.

Need to know -

• How long Location Data is stored
• Where it is stored
• How we can access and view it
• How often the devices return location information
• Can you still "geofence" with Location switched off.

Avalanche was fine this morning. I was adding two new group locations, one as a child of the other - both initially configured to not inherit profiles from above. When I went to the child to set it to inherit the child node dissapeared. After refreshing it still didn't come back so I re-created it. It was around performing this change that it stopped synchronising.

Any helpwould be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Recently I have a problem with Motorola RDT MC9090 with Wavelink Terminal Emulator on them.

Problem description:

Wavelink TE application is gone on 3 MC9090 RDT.

I have check:

- application folder,

- program files folder,

- windows folder.

No sign of Wavelink application. It is gone from the RDT drives, where it was previously installed.

Previously my collogue simply re-install wavelink application, but this is not a solution for me, because it seems like the problem is frequently repeating.

OS: Windows CE 5.00 (build 1400)

Dear all,

I have Wavelink WEB emulator (7.3.71) running on a Motorola MC9190 with Windows CE 6.

I need to manage the rate at which users can post the Enter key to the emulator, because if they press this button repeatedely with small time gap the web server who is listening gets confused. I need to define a time threshold so that the emulator, after the first pression of Enter key, accepts the next one only after this interval has expired. A kind of time watchdog.

I hope I was clear in my explanation.

We are looking at implementing MDM but our network admins are wanting to put some stipulations on items.

One being can we limit the number of devices that a single user can enroll once they have the tiny URL?

also wondering how other companies are using wavelink and certificates?  We want to try and tie in some kind of two factor certificate or wireless settings i am curious how others are handling the devices connecting to their internal networks

Wavelink Emulator Telnet installed. With WEB adapter. with Windows CE 5.0 running WaveLink Telnet CE Version 7.0.x

I'm trying to read network logs generated by TelnetCE and I'm looking for a utlity that will format it better that NotePad/Wordpad.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, I try to activate a license TelnetCE on Motoral device via Lisence Server.

My steps:

1. I installed Licence Server on computer and then I added licences.

2. I installed a client on Motorola device with license server settings as :146.212.32.15:1820

3. When I launch a terminal, it stucks in atteption to connect server.

The version 7.3 matched for both: server lisence and version of client.

In log file I see connection log:

What does unlicensed devices mean? Those devices can not get a license.

we have set the client to keep the connection unless exit

however if a session gets locked rebooting the client makes no difference and we have to recycle the velocity server, killing all the sessions

Hello,

I'm actually reinstalling for the 2nd times in 4 months the Wavelink Avalanche Server as same issue comes up : after a config change on a Avalanche profile, the Wavelink Avalanche Manager service went down and no way to solve issue even after a restore from a backup file.

But this time, it didn't work even after a reinstallation of Avalanche server.

here enclosed 2 logs files : 1 detailed (=Avalanche.log) and 1 shorter (=Report.txt)

where do I go to download Wavelink Terminal Emulation 7.3 for MC92N0?

How do I build a package for DATALOGIC X3  and what needs to be included in it. There are no custom settings. Server already have a profile for DATALOGIC Kyman. Is it Possible to use it ?
