I am testing out the new Zebra TC8000 with Wavelink Terminal Emulation v 2.0.16.4933 and I need an "Enter" sent after a scan. Anyone know how to do this?

Issue Enter After Barcode Scan
Hello:
I am currently testing a Zebra WT6000 and an RS6000 ring scanner. I have set up a project within the Velocity Console (Ver. 1.2.101) and have deployed that project to the WT6000. When I scan a barcode, I need to issue and Enter key and am not sure how to do this. DataWedge is also installed on the WT6000 with a Velocity Profile and I have enabled Send ENTER key in the basic data formatting. However, when I exit the DataWedge application it does not seem to save that information.

Is there the ability to use an autosend key data function in Velocity?
I am migrating from devices using Wavelink TE where i use this function to send data after 2 barcodes are scanned that fill the fields on screen.

How to take over a Wavelink configuration
Hello, I have some Motorola MC9100 and I'd like to take over the configuration from one device to another device. I heard that I could copy the Termcfg.bin from the application\wavelink folder (via Active Sync) to another MC9100 but that don't work. If I looked in the Termcfg.bin I didn't find my configuration profile.
In which file is the configured profile from my Wavelink Telnet (Version 7.3.40) saved?
Another possibiltiy to take over the profile should be the Wavelink TelnetCE Configuration Utility but I can't find a download. Is this software only available for
maintenance agreement?

Auto-Run Package to install a .PKG file
I am looking to push down a Motorola Fusion update through Avalanche to a set of MC9090s. Normally the Fusion updates are .CAB files which I am very familiar with in terms of packaging them into AVAs. With the .PKG file, on the other hand, I am lost. I can get it loaded onto the device just fine but don't know the correct process for actually getting it to run.
Ideally I would want it to run like a .CAB file with the Noaskdest and noui flags set so that it runs silently in the background without prompting any user interaction. Is there any way to accomplish this?

Scan Handler (Enter after barcode scan) not working
Hello,
I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.
Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).
My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.
I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.
The manual found on this page does not help either:

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?
Scan Terminator is also \0D:
I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have any idea that i'm doing wrong?

Avalanche Enabler 5.3-48 "Settings" Password
I am running Avalanche Enabler 5.3-48 (2) on a Motorola MC9190 scanner. I want to change the default "Settings" password as well as the default password for exiting the application. How can I do this? I've look through all the settings that I can see and there is nothing about changing passwords. I've installed the enabler just by loading the .cab file onto the scanner but I'm guessing that there is a corresponding program that I should be using in Windows...but not sure.

We buy at last week more 5 licences for Wavlink 3.8... Now we have 8 licences.
In the server i see 8 licences but a can't use more of 4 simultaneously, i recieve a message "User Limit Reached"

How to hide input panel on Zebra MC9200 CE7.0
Hi,
I would like to hide the input panel on a Zebra MC9200 CE7.0 handheld.
I did some settings, but the input panel still exists if I click to an input field. The hardware keyboard doesn't work - but this should be active.
Does anybody know the correct registry settings?

Auto login
I need a script that takes the last 6 numbers of the mac address and puts it in the auto login screen.
The Auto login request is Terminal ID:
If anyone has an answer I really need this ASAP. This is a huge project that I know I have seen work in TE and did not know it doesn't work in Velocity through the standard login.

Attribute Type issue when create new form on ivanti
Hello,
I am wondering if you can please advise we are in the process of developing a new Hardware request form within Ivanti and need help with one area that we are struggling to get it working.
What we’re trying to achieve is when a user complete the Hardware request form when the user add data into QMUL Locations field box and ticks the field box HW Set Location As Default? it then populates the field box called Location, but when I click on save I get the following error message:
There has been an unexpected error. Click continue to return to the previous page. Could not find the update related attribute type_UpdateUser. The related attribute type to be updated must already exist.
I have replicated some of the ideas from a form which contains similar fields and objects conditions, but my seems to fail with the above error. Any tips that you can provide would be helpful.

Emulator 5250 Session Terminated
Good morning,
We have been facing an ongoing issue with our scanners randomly disconnecting users from their sessions with the message "AS400 session has been terminated". It happens at completely random times and has no pattern, rhyme or reason about it.
The wireless has been tested extensively and was actually updated this past year. I have personally stood in the areas and walked through the areas of the facility for hours while our network admin monitored my connection. I never dropped wireless once, and the connection to AS400 never went down, either. I have also verified that the scanner will have wireless connection when the session terminates. So the APs are ruled out.
I have read multiple accounts of setting keep alive parameters and rekey issues with SSH, but this is apart from that because it can work for hours without ever terminating the session. At other times I have seen a session terminate six times in thirty minutes.
I have attempted contacting the manufacturer of our scanners, but we only have hardware warranty.
I appreciate any and all help I can get, I'm by no means an AS400/5250 Emulator professional.
I'm just a lowly helpdesk technician and my manager kind of dumped this into my lap after attempting to fix it for two-three months.
If I can provide any further information, let me know. I will actively watch this forum and respond as fast as I can.

Telnet Startup Focus w/Windows 10
Hello!
We're trying to autostart the Wavelink Telnet client (v7.3.299) on a full Win10 tablet (via the Startup shortcut included as part of the installer).
While the client starts, it never seems able to grab screen focus - the user is just presented with the Win10 desktop.
We've looked at:
1) Hiding the Start Menu via Telnet. This is interesting - while the main client window is still hidden, the bottom gray Telnet status bar does display (in place/on top of the Win10 bar).
2) Delaying Telnet startup. Thinking maybe another startup process was stealing focus, tried a launcher utility using a delay of 15 sec, but without any difference.
Any ideas appreciated!

Function keys with WT41N0 Telnet CE 7.3.192 VT220 emulation
Hi i'm having difficulties using function keys with Motorola WT41N0 Telnet CE 7.3.192 and VT200 emulation. Random charachtes or error message key not recognized is diplayed if i'm trying to use Function keys (F1; F2 etc.) Any ideas?

Industrial Browser WEB - overflow cache
Hello all
My devices are running 24/ 7 / 365.
After around 2 days the answers and reactions of the device are slower as on the first day.
A "good scan" needs time , the comming new website also
After around 3 days most devices have no reaction - if they in sleep mode I did not get them back alive.
We found out - IE cache is full !
The switch inside TB - WEB Clear Cache and und WEB Clear Cookies have only on time a effect - at the start.
Our device running all time - stop the session and exit Wavelink isn´t allow for the workers.
MC 9190
- germany and englisch OS - 1.34 // 2.41 same .
- Wavelink 7.3.206 and 7.3.196 -> older same effect
any idea ?
