The taskbar is not visible in TelnetCE, even though I'm not hiding anything in the options tab. How can I get it back, so I cen get into the config menus
I'm using TelnetCE 7.3 with app center. When I go into TelnetCE, I lose the taskbar which contained the config menus.
So I can't change config or even exit the program. I'm force to cold boot to exit TelnetCE. I'm do not have any
options in the 'options' tab checked, so nothing should be hidden. How can I get it back?

How to send data from a thrid android app to Velocity
My goal is to send data to Velocity client. For this reason I am using an intent on my custom Application. the code is the following:

However the above code does not get inside if statement. This means that it can not resolve current intent action.
My questions are:
- Is the above (com.wavelink.intent.action.EMDK.SEND) action string valid for calling corresponding Velocity Action? If not what is the corrcet string?
- The above method would like to be called on a key press. What script to I need to write in Velocity console in order to call a method of another application?

I've a bunch of MC3190-S (not guns). Please suggest me where to buy Wavelink TelnetCE for this terminal.
Directly from Motorola or from Wavelink?
I've found document on motorola website with part numbers of wavelink telnetce.
Document says that SWE-82990-01 is license 2-in-1 for all device types.
But this site http://www.barcodediscount.com/catalog/symbol/part-swe-82990-01.htm says the following:
Symbol SWE-82990-01
TN Client (Active Sync) for MC55, MC65, MC70, MC75, ES400 and ET1, VT/HP Emulation.
I'm totally confused. Will this part number fit MC3910-S ?

How to get rid of the status/title bar on MC9190 WM 6.5
I have a MC9190 with Windows Mobile 6.5 and I am running TelnetCE version 7.0.161. While I have Telnet configured to run full screen the title bar\status bar is still visible. The visible real estate is no so much the worry, but I want to control what the user has access to. By click on the icons on the status bar the user can still gain access to Windows, which I would prefer to prevent. I understand that I could use the Avalanche Enabler, but I do not really like that option as we do not use that. Are there any other options, like a registry edit that I can try to hide or disable this.

I am unable to get the Caps Lock to work in Wavelink for Android using MC9200
I have a brand new MC92N0-GA0SYEAA6WR with Android. I am using Wavelink Terminal Emulation Version 2.0.16.4933
This is one of the first Android versions of the MC9200 that we have purchased. We hope to switch to these and move away from the Windows CE devices we have used exclusively. I am working to get the Android device operational in our environment and we require that the caps lock be engaged at all times when in Wavelink. I went to configure the emulation parameters and made sure Initial Caps Lock State was checked. I restarted Wavelink to have that change take effect, but when our login screen comes up, it is still all in lower case. I went back into the emulation parameters and saw that the change I made was still there. I decided to also check Initial Caps Lock State under VT Emulation. This still resulted in all lower case. I checked out one of our Windows handhelds and confirmed where I thought the Caps Lock was toggled in the Configuration Tool on my laptop. However, I was unable to find a location in the Wavelink software on the handheld where Caps Lock was toggled. Our Windows devices do work though. Caps is always engaged. I am not sure what I am missing with the Android device. Is this something that simply cannot be changed in the Wavelink client? Any help would be appreciated. I found out we have 55 of these Android handhelds on order so I need to find a solution.

Scan Handler (Enter after barcode scan) not working
Hello,
I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.
Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).
My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.
I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.
The manual found on this page does not help either:

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?
Scan Terminator is also \0D:
I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have any idea that i'm doing wrong?

Issue Enter After Barcode Scan
Hello:
I am currently testing a Zebra WT6000 and an RS6000 ring scanner. I have set up a project within the Velocity Console (Ver. 1.2.101) and have deployed that project to the WT6000. When I scan a barcode, I need to issue and Enter key and am not sure how to do this. DataWedge is also installed on the WT6000 with a Velocity Profile and I have enabled Send ENTER key in the basic data formatting. However, when I exit the DataWedge application it does not seem to save that information.

How can you avoid this?
Using our current WT4090 Wavelink config files, the WT41N0 asks the user to reboot the terminal to change the taskbar state.
We don’t want the users to make this choice. If they choose no, then Wavelink does not go into Kiosk mode. (Taskbar is unlocked)
Is there a way to update the config files so that a reboot is not necessary, have the device reboot automatically or as a last resort not attempt to lock the taskbar (so the popup does not appear)?

Move Avalanche server

What is to do when we want to move AvalancheMC to another server?
Old server has Server 2003 installed, we have to move to Server 2012.
New server has another IP adress.
Got a valid backup, but not sure if all that we need to restore on a new server is in there.

Background Information:
1. I have Avalanche Wavelink Manager Console version 3.3.205.
2. It is running on a Server 2003 R2 service pack 2.
3. The new computer hand held scanner's OS is Windows CE 5.2.29326.
4. Model of the hand held is Motorola MC92N0-g series.
5. Need to get the new units connected to Symbol Spectrum 24 access points.

TelnetCE Problems on Motorola 9090
Hello,
This is my first post and I could do with some help
We use Wavelink TelnetCE software on the handheld RDTs in our warehouse.
The Handhelds a Motorola/Symbol 9190 / 9090s
This talks back to our Warehouse Software Autostore on our Microsoft Cluster running Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 via Pragma Telnet Server.
The devices have varying versions of TelnetCE from 5.11-43 to 7.3.146
A majority of the guns are configured to use DHCP on our WING wireless network – coverage is good across the warehouse.
We have severe problems with connectivity.
The guns always have good connection however the communication to and from the server can be extremely slow – making the gun appear to freeze at random points.
It would only appear to affect the guns that between access points.
I’ve tried a number of permutations with the settings but have had no luck in getting to the bottom of the problem.
Do you have any advice on how to monitor and debug this type of issues?
Is there anywhere I can get configuration advice?

Regarding the licensing I didn’t find anything definitive but we have got a license server up and running and we also have a .lic license file on the system. I found this log message:

Both of which seem a little contradictory to me: “you have no licenses but the licenses are ok!”

Are there any pre-built TelnetCE scripts for GS1 barcode parsing?
Does Wavelink have any scripting libraries that include GS1 barcode handing? I have a scenario where I have to parse information out of a GS1 barcode scan into multiple fields or persistent variables based on the Application Identifiers within the barcode. I've developed the pseucode for accomplishing this and am about to port it into TelnetCE scripting. I just wanted to make sure this didn't already exist before I spend my time building it from scratch. I have to imagine other Wavelink customers have ran into this situation before as it's a standard symbology for the pharmaceutical industry.

Naurtech Browser on Intermec CK3B screen is freezed and shows" Logon is being prepared"
HI,
We are using Intermec CK3B device running on WM 6.1 and using SAP EWM ITS mobile solution invoked through Naurtech Browser.
As of now with the licensed version the browser is not going beyond logon page and shows that : “Login is being prepared “.
Can someone please suggest steps to fix this issue.
