I've downloaded the Productivity Pack to apply a custom keyboard to an android tablet with a barcode scanner. I've read the directions to apply it through avalanche or through another MDM option. I don't want anything as complicated as that. Can't I just copy it over to the device and apply it over the default keyboard?

Can someone please help me create a custom keyboard like in iphone? Where we can just tap the number sign in the main alphabet keyboard instead of swiping it? I don't know what's the value for numeric press like the upper/shift. I tried editing the Shift button and edit it for numbers but it will entirely change the main keyboard layout. I think this will benefit the user and time efficient when changing alphabet to numeric keys instead of swiping around. Thanks guys!

This is my first post and I could do with some help
We use Wavelink TelnetCE software on the handheld RDTs in our warehouse.
The Handhelds a Motorola/Symbol 9190 / 9090s
This talks back to our Warehouse Software Autostore on our Microsoft Cluster running Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 via Pragma Telnet Server.
The devices have varying versions of TelnetCE from 5.11-43 to 7.3.146
A majority of the guns are configured to use DHCP on our WING wireless network – coverage is good across the warehouse.
We have severe problems with connectivity.
The guns always have good connection however the communication to and from the server can be extremely slow – making the gun appear to freeze at random points.
It would only appear to affect the guns that between access points.
I’ve tried a number of permutations with the settings but have had no luck in getting to the bottom of the problem.
Do you have any advice on how to monitor and debug this type of issues?
Is there anywhere I can get configuration advice?

Hello. I'm using Wavelink TelnetCE for Android, but I can't see and I can't access the main menu.
After I've added the host, I can only tap to connect.
In the upper margin there's only the text "Terminal Emulation" wich is not "tappable".
How can I access the menu?

Hi, I've recently discovered hosting our Web based WMS on a Terminal Server optimizes device performance by 2 times.
Device specs:
Moto MC9190
Windows CE6
OEM 04.37
Enabler 5.3-46
To achieve this, my solution is to add a RDP shortcut on the Wavelink Enabler which will start the session to the terminal server.
Problems:
-CE6 is not designed to save RDP credentials after a cold boot (There is no way around this). I need auotmatic login for compliance reasons.
-A warm boot will sometimes erase the RDP credentials too. So this is my main road block.
Questions:
-Does anyone have experience with using RDP on Windows Mobile devices?
-Is it possible to configure Telnet Client Emulator to act as a Remote Desktop connection to connect to a server?
All I need it seems is to have a web page hosted on resources external from the Mobile device. The MC9190 does not have the resources optimally run a WMS web session.
-Once you think you have thought outside the box, you must think outside that box.
I'm open to questions.
I have TelnetCE 7.3 running 5250 emulation on Intermec CK71 handhelds and Telnet 7.3 running the same emulation on Honeywell VM3 Windows 7 forklift computers. If a user runs across an X-wait message on the CK71, they press Esc to clear it and go on their merry way. But if a user gets an X-wait message on a VM3, the only way out of it is to close the session. I've checked diagnostics and both devices are show the same 001B scan code when pressing ESC. So, how do you clear an X-wait message on Telnet 7.3 for Windows 7? Thanks.
EDIT: working more with this issue, it seems ESC does clear most X-wait messages, but there are some it won't clear, and the only way out is to close the session.

We're trying to autostart the Wavelink Telnet client (v7.3.299) on a full Win10 tablet (via the Startup shortcut included as part of the installer).
While the client starts, it never seems able to grab screen focus - the user is just presented with the Win10 desktop.
We've looked at:
1) Hiding the Start Menu via Telnet. This is interesting - while the main client window is still hidden, the bottom gray Telnet status bar does display (in place/on top of the Win10 bar).
2) Delaying Telnet startup. Thinking maybe another startup process was stealing focus, tried a launcher utility using a delay of 15 sec, but without any difference.
Any ideas appreciated!

Had been using Honeywell D6500 (WinCE5.0) with Wavelink for the model.
On the Wavelink, it shows the special keys ( Ctrl/Alt/Numeric) on the Wavelink Telnet Emulator.
But when upgrade device to Honeywell D6510 ( WinCE6.0), there is no Wavelink TE for it and had to use Universal version.
The universal version does not support special key indicator and therefore not able to show if CTRL/ALT/Numeric is keyed.
Is there no way to show them? Or will there be a version that will support D6510?

I'm trying to use Package builder 6 to create a package to copy down a customized AppCenter.reg file to the \Application folder on a Moto WT41n0 device. Can anyone tell me what the destination drive and/or folder is for \Application? I tried using just the APPS drive but it doesn't seem to pulling down the reg file.
Customer is using Connect Pro on a machine with 64 bit window system. From total 80 devices, they only able connect 20 devices to the ConnectPro Server all the time. From the below document, there is an option to change client per host, may I know how to change it for Window OS?

we are experiencing problem with VelocityCE running on Datalogic Falcon X3+.
We installed appropriate client from Wavelink download page.
We also installed VelocityCE server on Xeon machine with Windows 2012 server OS.
Device reaches velocity server but nothing is displayed, after some time there's "Reconnecting" on the client.
We checked log on the server and it looks like that there's some problem with java script on the page.
That web page loads normally on IE or Chrome, from the machine where Velocity server is installed.
When we tested few months ago it worked without problem, so we can't figure out what is going on...

When I initially setup my MC9090 CE 5.0 Scanner I used a registry file to load the network settings. I am now trying to use Avalanche Network Profiles. The problem I am having is that I keep getting "Failed to add the new Fusion profile." / "Failed to create the wireless profile." errors when the network profiles are downloaded to the scanner. I have tried deleting the existing Fusion Profiles, experimenting with different encryption and authentication schemes; however nothing seems to address the problem.
Any thoughts?

I am using a Zebra WT41N0 and a RS507 bluetooth scanner, I am also using a TE applications and an AS400 has the host. The issue that I am having is that the user will be working and moving along just fine, they scan a barcode and then nothing happens, the scanner will not product a beam. When I remove and reinsert the battery I get the start up LED's and then it goes back to doing nothing. The only way to fix it is to have the user log out and then reboot the terminal and pair it again. Also the user will be working and the pairing barcode will pop up for unknown reason and asked to be paired again. I tested it with a fully charged battery and it happened to be. I put the scanner in pick list mode and enabled the low battery warnings but I did not get any warnings about battery getting low. Are there any ideas of what could be happening? Thanks

I am currently testing a Zebra WT6000 and an RS6000 ring scanner. I have set up a project within the Velocity Console (Ver. 1.2.101) and have deployed that project to the WT6000. When I scan a barcode, I need to issue and Enter key and am not sure how to do this. DataWedge is also installed on the WT6000 with a Velocity Profile and I have enabled Send ENTER key in the basic data formatting. However, when I exit the DataWedge application it does not seem to save that information.

1. Scanner then Common and "Disable Scanner" to YES
2. Scanner then Common and "Use Scanner As Keyboard Wedge" to ENABLE
