Hi,
I would like to hide the input panel on a Zebra MC9200 CE7.0 handheld.
I did some settings, but the input panel still exists if I click to an input field. The hardware keyboard doesn't work - but this should be active.
Does anybody know the correct registry settings?

i am new to Avalanche and i tried to config a first device (Skorpio X3, WM 6.5) completely with Avalanche SE 5.3.
Now i run into the problem, that the decoding option "spot beam" is not available in the DLDCU options (v.2014.006) in Avalanche SE, but of course on the device itself.
We need this option to config the "aiming-dot"-function, which is needed to help scanning barcodes which are far away under the ceiling of the factory building.
I found some settings like "target mode" and so on in "Imager Options", but nothing behaves like the original "Spot Beam"-setting, which is available directly on the skorpio x3 device.
Any ideas on that topic ?
Got today the new MC9200.
Speaker ist terrible loud, so i set via control Panel the volume to Soft. After cold boot, the Sound ist set again to Default.
How can i prevent this. Windows Embedded Compact is new to us.

need your expertise advice as I am using CETERM 5.5 for my handheld device and my customer have feedback that while using the handheld device the CETERM intermittently auto log out by itself and goes back to the login page so users need to re-login again. I did some research on the CETERM settings and try to enable the "Auto connect" and "Auto Reconnect" so have to wait for customer feedback whether this will resolve this issue, thanks.

gurations on the option of "NEW ANSWER BACK" But when performing this parameterization the error persists.
We are testing the Velocity telnet client to see if it makes sense to migrate from Telnet CE to Velocity. We have noticed two things that we would like to overcome.
Our application handles telnet formatting so that its not just a green screen application. The background colors change based on the context, fields are highlighted and there are even drop-down boxes etc.
1. The velocity client contains horizontal lines across the screen.
2. All function keys but F5 key work. The F5 doesn't seem to transmit anything to the telnet server.
The Telnet CE session is on the left and the Velocity session is on the right.
I have used the Velocity console to reconfigure the keyboard but the problems with F5 persist. Also, I don't see anyplace in the Velocity console or client settings to remove the lines.
Does anyone have an idea how I can eliminate the lines and cause the F5 mapping to be correct for the Velocity client?
Is there a TelnetCE 7.3.x CE7 Script command for MC92N0 to include Vibration with a scan beep? This can be triggered by DataWedge as per the user guide.

I am installing Avalanche SE 5.3 and have encountered the error as mentioned above. I have reviewed https://community.landesk.com/support/message/92356#92356 and https://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-27560. The bitrock installation log and avalanche??.install.log appear OK. The system has no trouble installing postgres, however it is unable to install the databases.
I suspect that this issue is related to the server having an existing postgres 9.3 installation. However AvalancheSE is smart enough to detect, and alter, the port (5433) so that it does not clash with the existing service. I can restart the postgres 9.1 (avalanche) service in services.msc with no errors in event log. I can also actually login to postgres 9.1 using pgAdmin III, and the postgres user/password that I entered (as in the first picture).
Perhaps Avalanche, for some reason, is installing postgres 9.1 but instead is attempting to login to the existing postgres 9.3.
I have reviewed the sql files in the postgres data folder, however it's unclear which ones need to be run.

Hi i'm having difficulties using function keys with Motorola WT41N0 Telnet CE 7.3.192 and VT200 emulation. Random charachtes or error message key not recognized is diplayed if i'm trying to use Function keys (F1; F2 etc.) Any ideas?
I am getting ready to expand the subnet in one of my facilities. To do so I am going to have to change the subnet on about 40 Symbol WT4090 devices with static IP's.
My typical setup on these is to use Motorola Remote Capture to get a baseline. Install the enabler and telnet client, capture differences, save and deploy differences. My question is concerning changing the subnet mask directly on the device without using a cradle and running back through remote capture. If I change the subnet mask will that change persist across a cold boot? Or do I need to remote capture each again?
Using terminal emulator (TelnetCE v7.3) on Motorola MC9190G mobile device with Windows CE operating system.
Because of noisy environment, in which it is used, I'm trying to get MC9190G to vibrate after successful scan.
Is it possible to adjust in terminal emulator (regardless of version) to vibrate after successful scan ?

I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.
Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).
My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.
I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?

I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.

Is Wavelink Industrial Browser html5 compatible?
Problem with Autologin feature which will stop and wait for user to press ENTER instead of executing command automatically.
Setup:
Wavelink TelnetCE - Host Profile - Autologin:
Name Prompt: "login:"
Name: "myuser1"
Password Prompt: "password:"
Password: "mypwd" (displayed as "*****"
Command Prompt: "domain:"
Command: "mydomain.com"
Result of connection test:
Autlogin correctly sets and executes login and password but for domain prompt only presets value "mydomain.com" and does not execute it (waits for user to press ENTER).
Expected result:
Return/ENTER is sent to host to execute the command.
Remarks:
The same problem occurs also for standard command (e.g. D:\MyApp\start.bat) when domain prompt is removed in the server setup.
Enviro:
Host: Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit, Georgia Softworks Telnet Server 8.05
Client: Motorola MC9190G, Windows Mobile 6.5, Wavelink TelnetCE 7.3.237 (latest available)
