Problem with the deinstallation of the Wavelink TelnetCE 7378 application

I am currently about to deinstall / install the Wavelink TelnetCE 7378 application on our Motorola MC9100 device. In order to achieve this, I have already tried the following measures without any success:

 

(1)      Deinstallation via the Motorola Wavelink Application (Application & Config):

 

After having executed the deinstallation process I get the following error message despite the fact, that the application is already installed on the device:

 

"Update failed. Unable to determine install directory. Please verify that the product is installed on the device."

 

(2)     Deinstallation via the remove programs menu on the scanner

 

It is written on the screen: "Programs in storage memory: Wavelink TelnetCE 7378". I mark the entry. Afterwards I click on "remove". After having clicked on "remove" the following error appears:

 

"Wavelink TelnetCE 7378 was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs?" Then I click on "yes" but nothing happens.

 

(3)      Reinstallation of the client via the "Application & Config" button on the application:

 

The reinstallation process starts. However I get the following error messages on the screen:

 

"The previous version of Wavelink TelnetCE 7378 will be removed before the new one is installed. Select OK to continue or cancel to quit". I click on "OK". After three seconds the following error message appears:

 

"The previous version of Wavelink TelnetCE 7378 cannot be removed. Do you want to continue installing Wavelink TelnetCE 7378?" Here I click on yes. Then the following message appears:

 

"Installation of Wavelink TelnetCE 7378.cab was unsuccessful."

 

(4)      Restarting of the Scanner and the following of the reinstallation / deinstallation measures (Bullet points 1 - 3) as described above after the scanners’ reboot was also not successful

 

(5)      The deinstallation of the Wavelink Application and the following of the reinstallation / deinstallation measures (Bullet points 1 - 3) as described above after the scanners’ reboot was also not successful

 

 

So I have now tried five possibilities to solve the problem. Do you have any other hints regarding the solution of this issue?

Velocity crash

Hello!

Velocity Wavelink is crashing when the next menu dones´t have options or funcionalities, for example, I´m trying to access  this path "Expedição > Transferências > Editar Transf".

Below follow the print screen of this sequence...

 

 

As can be seen above, the app crashes when the message "O Velocity parou." is shown.

However, when I have changed the option “Turn Native Mode” to “Off” the same procedure worked perfectly and the application didn’t crash.

 

 

 

Does anyone have the same or a similar problem?

Velocity TE - how to map keys for MC92N0 / keys not working.

We need to remap some keys for the MC92N0 to match application functionality in a TE / VT220 emulator.  I see that there is a ReplaceKey script in the LIbrary as an example, but it doesn't seem to work even when I hard code keyscan values.  Is there a different/easier way?

How to have loudly sound on MC3190?

Hello,

on MC3190 when we use Telnet CE ( any version) the level of the sound is not enough loud to be hear by a end user in the warehouse

 

we need to know how we can set correctly TelnetCE to have a very heavy sound

How to take over a Wavelink configuration

Hello, I have some Motorola MC9100 and I'd like to take over the configuration from one device to another device. I heard that I could copy the Termcfg.bin from the application\wavelink folder (via Active Sync) to another MC9100 but that don't work. If I looked in the Termcfg.bin I didn't find my configuration profile.

In which file is the configured profile from my Wavelink Telnet (Version 7.3.40) saved?

 

Another possibiltiy to take over the profile should be the Wavelink TelnetCE Configuration Utility but I can't find a download. Is this software only available for

maintenance agreement?

 

I hope you can help me :-)

TelnetCE - make a macro

Hello there,

I'm using TelnetCE 7366 and I'm trying to exit the emulation (5250 or VT) with a datalogic Skorpio keybord. I tried FN ALT x but it doesn't works. I have to make a specific macro? if so how do that ?

Restore on New box with same IP address?

Recently just tried moving Avalanche MC from a Windows XP box to a Windows Server 2008 R2 box.  I took a backup on the XP box of the MC, and restored it on the Server 2008 R2 box.  The restore was successful, but my Mobile Device Server is saying offline.  Note, I did power off the old box, and the new box is set to the IP address of the old one.  Is there a settings file that I am missing that I need to change the IP address on the new box?  When I put the new box on DHCP and fire-up the old box, the Mobile device server connects which seems to me like it connecting to the old box.  Any help?

Created an alerts profile > applied it to the folder > deployed it. made changes on the device but we are not getting alerted

already made sure that i have set the email recipients are set.  For example when the device is offline or powered off or a new SD card is installed or the battery is running low. None of these are working. Even though they are checkmarked in the profile.

TelnetCE/Data Wedge does not decode GS1-128 symbology. Symbol MC92N0 (Android Kit Kat)

I am having an issue where while using the TelnetCE application on MC92N0 devices running android it fails to decode GS1 barcodes. The scan settings for TelnetCE are manipulated in the Datawedge settings on the device and I have enabled GS1 symbology in the correct location. However when I attempt to scan the GS1 barcode it does not decode it. If I run DWdemo app on the device and scan the GS1 barcode it decodes correctly. So the issue seems to be isolated to TelnetCE.

how to reset Naurtech password?

Hello , We have a customer with a Hand Held 99EX honeywell using the Naurtech software we need help resetting the password ( as they forgot it)  as they are having problems with the function keys. We need to go to the function key configuration but to do that we need to reset the password so we can enter the system.

How to hide input panel on Zebra MC9200 CE7.0

Hi,

 

I would like to hide the input panel on a Zebra MC9200 CE7.0 handheld.

 

I did some settings, but the input panel still exists if I click to an input field. The hardware keyboard doesn't work - but this should be active.

 

Does anybody know the correct registry settings?

Wavelink TE 7.3 HID Identifier

Hi,

 

I'm running Wavelink TelnetWIN (PC version of TE) 7.3 on a device.

There is are two options in Scanner > Common allowing the identification of HID Scans :

     HID Scan Identifier Start

     HID Scan Identifier End

 

Except the 0 value, the possible values to set are unknown.

Could someone tell me what values (keycodes, scancodes, ascii char, etc...)  are to be set in those options ?

MC 9200 Wireless profile not installing

I’ve seen this issue posted a few times, but I haven’t found a proper solution to the issue yet. I’m  looking to the community with the hopes that someone has encountered this already can help.  We just received new MC9200 scanners. The issue I’m having is that Avalanche is not installing the wireless profiles we have configured on the 9200 only. It works for all our other models of wireless scanners though.I worked with support on Friday and I was told that we needed to have the scanner  OS updated to version:

 

 

MC92N0　

 

CE 7.0　

 

Fusion Version X_2.03.0.0.017R　

 

OEM VERSION : 06.57.22　

 

Enabler: 5.3.84　

 

 

 

　 

 

The enabler version I am using is 5.3.84. I installed the updated OS today and verified the settings, but the issue still persist. All the other settings are there, but the wireless profile is not installing. The radio is enabled and scanner is seeing our wireless SSID, but not installing the profile. Has anyone encountered this issue?

TelnetCE Problems on Motorola 9090

Hello,

 

This is my first post and I could do with some help

 

We use Wavelink TelnetCE software on the handheld RDTs in our warehouse.

 

The Handhelds a Motorola/Symbol 9190 / 9090s

 

This talks back to our Warehouse Software Autostore on our Microsoft Cluster running Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 via Pragma Telnet Server.

 

The devices have varying versions of TelnetCE from 5.11-43 to 7.3.146

 

A majority of the guns are configured to use DHCP on our WING wireless network – coverage is good across the warehouse.

 

We have severe problems with connectivity.

 

The guns always have good connection however the communication to and from the server can be extremely slow – making the gun appear to freeze at random points.

 

It would only appear to affect the guns that between access points.

 

I’ve tried a number of permutations with the settings but have had no luck in getting to the bottom of the problem.

 

Do you have any advice on how to monitor and debug this type of issues?

 

Is there anywhere I can get configuration advice?

 

Any advice would be appreciated

need to install cab file to intermec CK3X device

AVA 5.3 SE

intermec CK3X 

OS - 5.2.29217(29217.5.3.12.26) 

fw: 1.61.22.0072


Hi

Need to install customer application to the above Intermec CK3X device.  Customer application is cabbed up but  does not automatically install.

Would anyone be able to suggest method to install this cab automatically on this intermec device?  I was thinking create package(via package builder)  and use the wceload.exe cmd in the post install script.  But, wceload.exe is not visible on the device so not sure if this will work or not.  i do know there is another method with intermec devices where you can copy the cab to the flashfilestore\cabfiles folder and reboot the device.  this installs the cab file successfully.  not sure how to code this in the package builder.  any assistance would be appreciated.

How do I show only Wavelink on the scanner and nothing else?

We are using Motorola 9xxx series on Scanning devices. I have installed Avalanche telnet emulation on the device.

 

We would like to make sure that users only use avalanche and nothing else on the device. How do we do that? Is there settingin device or If I can make changes to startup script of the device.

 

I will appreciate if someone can respond.

Play beep sound

Hi,

I tried two options to play a beep sound when an error occurs in SAP ITS mobile.

1. BGSOUND

2. IDA_BEEP.

Both did not play the beep sound on the velocity browser on Intermec CK71 RF device. But, both played the sound when I used the internet explorer on Intermec CK71 RF device! 

 

Please let me know if need to use something else to play sound.
