Q1: Is possible Get this Free of charge as prelicensed units or they must buy it?
Q2: For other units (DLOG X10) is possible order only Terminal Emulation 2 in 1 TN Client, if they can use all mentioned utilities?

On a screen with entry fields in a vertical list, when I use the up and down arrow keys they act like the tab key. The down arrow will move to the end of the field on the first press, the start of the next field with the second press, the end of that field with the third press, etc. Up arrow does the same thing. Left and right arrows work as expected. What setting am I missing that would change this behavior? This is on a new device, a Honeywell Thor VM3 with Windows 7 Pro. Telnet version 7.3.251 running 5250 emulation connecting to an IBM iSeries. Thanks!
For Oracle DFI (smart scan) functionality we need to prefix all scan data with ASCII 28 (hex: 1C) character. On our older scanners using Wavelink configuration tool we would set Scanner > Common > Scan Handler with the value "A(0)[P\\1C]". We are adding Zebra TC70 scanners and configuring using the Velocity Console. Under Scanner we have added a Zebra scanner then under Basic Data Formatting we are attempting to add the prefix character. We have tried "\\1C", "\1C", "\x1C" and a variety of other things we could think of including the same string we used with Wavelink. It seems that no matter what we put in the prefix field is prepended to the scan data as plain text. How do we set the prefix to send the ASCII 28 character?
We need to remap some keys for the MC92N0 to match application functionality in a TE / VT220 emulator. I see that there is a ReplaceKey script in the LIbrary as an example, but it doesn't seem to work even when I hard code keyscan values. Is there a different/easier way?

We have 2 mobile computer scanners that are behaving oddly. If we make a remote desktop connection to the terminal server of our vendor software, if we scan within that software, the string returned does not match the expected value; it appears to turn some numbers into special characters, and the order of characters has been changed. In one example, a barcode with string "U558220345" gets output as "5582@)#$U%". The scan returns normal when I am not inside the remote connection. I contacted the vendor about this; their rep said that, while they have seen this problem before, the issue is not with their software, but with the configuration of the scanner.
I see that the Avalanche has a "Scan Config" menu item, but I'm not familiar with Avalanche at all, and I'm trying to find a way to determine why the barcode data is being "scrambled" as it is. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
We purchased the licenses without a problem but where can I find the client? It isn't under the usual Wavelink downloads. I see cleints for Mc9100 but none for MC9200
I solved this problem. When I change WEB Engin Value Enhanced--> Standart, this problem solved.

This is my first post and I could do with some help
We use Wavelink TelnetCE software on the handheld RDTs in our warehouse.
The Handhelds a Motorola/Symbol 9190 / 9090s
This talks back to our Warehouse Software Autostore on our Microsoft Cluster running Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 via Pragma Telnet Server.
The devices have varying versions of TelnetCE from 5.11-43 to 7.3.146
A majority of the guns are configured to use DHCP on our WING wireless network – coverage is good across the warehouse.
We have severe problems with connectivity.
The guns always have good connection however the communication to and from the server can be extremely slow – making the gun appear to freeze at random points.
It would only appear to affect the guns that between access points.
I’ve tried a number of permutations with the settings but have had no luck in getting to the bottom of the problem.
Do you have any advice on how to monitor and debug this type of issues?
Is there anywhere I can get configuration advice?

In velocity client for andriod, i see that there is always a demo profile by default, is there a way to remove it using a config file or script?
We need remove this profile as everytime the profile is opend by mistake datawedge configuration is return to its deault settings

I am using a ftp in CETerm script to send out a text as login. We will send request and after that we logout, without more data exchange. The problem is, when there is a problem with server. it takes a lot of time to find out it can't connect.
Is it possible to lower the timeout for the FTP? It takes like 60s to find out that there is a problem, which is a problem.

Using our current WT4090 Wavelink config files, the WT41N0 asks the user to reboot the terminal to change the taskbar state.
We don’t want the users to make this choice. If they choose no, then Wavelink does not go into Kiosk mode. (Taskbar is unlocked)
Is there a way to update the config files so that a reboot is not necessary, have the device reboot automatically or as a last resort not attempt to lock the taskbar (so the popup does not appear)?

I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.
Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).
My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.
I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.
The manual found on this page does not help either:

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?

I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have any idea that i'm doing wrong?

Our warehouse logistics are handled through an internal ERP application ensuring a proper flow of the reception and distribution of auto parts.
For this purpose we use around 110 mobile terminals with barcode scanners (RF Guns) of which 50 are deployed in the central warehouse.
The models used are:
Motorola MC2100
Datalogic Falcon X3
Datalogic Skorpio
In the central warehouse we are currently using 50 Motorola MC2100 scanners with Windows CE 6.0 operating system. As an emulator we are using Wavelink Corporation’s Telnet version 7.3.63 for Motorola MC2100 terminals.
Lately, the following problem began to manifest itself:
On a daily basis every Motorola MC2100 device suffers one or more unexplainable telnet session blocks.
When this happens, the terminal cannot interact with the application any more, the keyboard stops working and after a few minutes the display shows the "disconnected session" message. The terminal’s log doesn’t record any loss of connection to the access point.
The Access Points are all newly acquired from Motorola in order to ensure maximum compatibility between them and the mobile terminals.
Our question is:
To what extent the Telnet emulator may influence these session blocks, taking into account the following:
1. Telnet version
2. Certain parameters of the telnet configuration
3. “Avalanche Enable” configuration – we are using the Avalanche platform version 5.3.0.572 to manage our terminals
4. Having a large number of sessions (high load) on an Access Point.
Can you please help us with any idea in tackling this problem? Is there a log monitoring tool that can help us to identify the cause of these problems?
The situation is very critical and this seriously influences the process of delivery and reception of goods.

My Client has Honeywell CT50 units running KitKat and wants the device's sleep mode disabled. From what I know of Android, you can only set sleep mode from 30 seconds to 30 minutes and possible disable it while charging if you use developer mode. I see that applications do have the ability to keep a session from timing out (like Map/Navigation applications). Is this a feature that is available or might be a good feature to add some time in the future?

Got today the new MC9200.
Speaker ist terrible loud, so i set via control Panel the volume to Soft. After cold boot, the Sound ist set again to Default.
How can i prevent this. Windows Embedded Compact is new to us.
