i wanted to set up a new Datalogic Jet on our Wavelink Server.
but The device has no Wavelink Avalanche software instaled.
How can i instal the Software on the device?
tried to Copy the Wavelink Avalanche Software from Kayman Device but the WiFi doesn't work with this i think this version is not compatible with the Jet Device.
How to append a F5 key to the scan data.

We are trying WT41N0 devices running Windows CE 7.0 and Wavelink Studio Client. We are having an issue when the devices go into power save.
When we wake them up again and wait for it to reconnect to the WifI, we cannot continue with our application. The device goes back to the wavelink studio screen with a 'session lost' message'. This does not occur with our WT4090 devices running under Windows CE 5.0 (and wavelink studio client).
I ran a log on the WT41N0 and have attached it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We recently received several new devices with Windows Mobile 6. With these new devices I am unable to get the Esc key to register when in an active Terminal session. I brought up the keyboard test, and no value is returned when I press the Esc key. Regular letter and number keys are returning the proper codes. If I press the Esc key on the emulation keyboard the proper value does show up.
I have gone over and over the configuration settings without success. I've compared the working device settings to our new device settings and can't find any differences. It seems like I must be missing something simple. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Hello, I have some Motorola MC9100 and I'd like to take over the configuration from one device to another device. I heard that I could copy the Termcfg.bin from the application\wavelink folder (via Active Sync) to another MC9100 but that don't work. If I looked in the Termcfg.bin I didn't find my configuration profile.
In which file is the configured profile from my Wavelink Telnet (Version 7.3.40) saved?
Another possibiltiy to take over the profile should be the Wavelink TelnetCE Configuration Utility but I can't find a download. Is this software only available for
maintenance agreement?

We are attempting to install Wavelink Avalanche SE 5.3 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box and are having issues installation PostgreSQL.
Steps:
checking for postgresql
copies many files
installing the jre...please wait
6. installing database support
7. creating database
Then it shows:
8. running database script file
- 4 times
9. Then fails with: "installation cannot continue due to the following error:
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: Connection refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster is accepting TCP/IP connections."
It appears that PostgreSQL fails to install. I have actually tried to manually install PostgreSQL a few days ago- thinking that Avalanche was simply failing to connect to an existing instance.
The Windows firewall is OFF. I am logged on as an administrator.
I was wondering where I can go to get more logging information and hopefully find out what is going on here.

Hi, i have just loaded 10 units with pre-licensed software (mc9090, wm5, ver:7.0.133) for a customers and the last unit he powers up is asking for a licence? Can someone advise why?

I have bought Symbol MC3190 (not new). After installation of Telnet CE 7.0 (pre-licensed on this devises), it asks me for license number. Where i can get it?
I'm working with Motorola MC55 devices and Avalanche SE. I'm finding that the AVA package for the device-specific enabler has no configuration options -- is this the intended design? If so, why would I choose to use that enabler instead of the generic enabler package, which has the expected enabler configuration options available to deploy?

after a repair, a device comes back to us. I try to install the universal enabler 5.2, which succeeds. Upon connecting however, the log shows ERROR: Session lost.
what could be causing this?

I have a Windows Embedded (XP flavor) Thor VM1 running the universal client of TelnetCE with the Link*One software being used as the scanner wedge. Using TE as the scanner wedge was not a viable option as "?"s were inserted in between every character when using a serial scanner.
Using Link*One has worked out great so far except for we are now running into a situation with TE inserts a "?" in scans of barcodes that contain hyphens. Outside of TE the barcode scans absolutley fine and even from a putty session to the same VT host the barcode scans fine. But in TE a "?" gets inserted.
How can this be removed? It seems to only be affecting Wavelink TE.

Hi Folks -- trying to force a radio mode (802.11b/g/n) on MC55's but don't see a way to do so in the GUI. Is this something that can be adjusted in a PRF file manually or as a custom property in the WLAN settings of the network profile?

I have tried to set the country code with Enabler on Motorola WT41N0
but it doesn't work.
In the enabler I have added this registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wavelink Unified Network Interface\DDI
"CountryCode"=FR ( and I have also tried FRA )
but the country code never change
The only thing that is works is the 802.11d and the wireless profile

on MC3190 when we use Telnet CE ( any version) the level of the sound is not enough loud to be hear by a end user in the warehouse
we need to know how we can set correctly TelnetCE to have a very heavy sound

We just got new WT4100 from our distributor. Using with TelnetCE at version 7.3.144 (5250 and WT100 sessions). The problem we are facing is that after boot an aoutostrup applican (WT41NOSTARTUP) is automatically launced by the system. This application is undesired and in conflict wiith the one (TelnetCE) we configured to startup.
The main question is how to remove the WT41NOSTARTUP application from startup. We already checked that the application is not defined into the startup folder. Also can see that the WT41NOSTARTUP has a shortcut onto the desktop. If we remove from the desktop at next boot it reappers.

We want to use TelnetCE 7.3.146 or 7.0.94 (that installed) as Industrial Browser. But if I use Host Type "WEB", Demo-License message appear.
I read post Pre-Licensed Terminal Emulation Client for Motorola Devices, at top of page I saw NOT WEB Emulation.
We need to buy license for use TelnetCE as Industrial Browser?
Using Wavelink SE 5.3.0.572, I have created and applied network and software profiles to some of my devices and found them to be in conflict with previously applied profiles. I then deleted my newly created profiles. Now when I look at the applied profiles in my device's properties, it still lists the deleted profiles as applied. How do I remove an applied profile that does not exist anymore?
