Hi Everyone -- any sense of when Avalanche SE will be supported on Windows Server 2012 R2? I've unsuccessfully attempted installing on that OS, but I am able to get it on WS08R2.

Auto-Run Package to install a .PKG file
I am looking to push down a Motorola Fusion update through Avalanche to a set of MC9090s. Normally the Fusion updates are .CAB files which I am very familiar with in terms of packaging them into AVAs. With the .PKG file, on the other hand, I am lost. I can get it loaded onto the device just fine but don't know the correct process for actually getting it to run.
Ideally I would want it to run like a .CAB file with the Noaskdest and noui flags set so that it runs silently in the background without prompting any user interaction. Is there any way to accomplish this?

Wavelink Starting Automatically

We have a Motorola Symbol MC9090 and from some days ago the WaveLink software started to start automatically and I don't know how to return to the Windows Mobile main screen to access the other programs. I tried to restart the machine but it didn't work. Now the only screen it shows is one written: No Host Connection <Enter> to Connect

Anyone knows how can I get out of this screen?

Can you limit the number of devices a user can enroill with?
We are looking at implementing MDM but our network admins are wanting to put some stipulations on items.
One being can we limit the number of devices that a single user can enroll once they have the tiny URL?
also wondering how other companies are using wavelink and certificates? We want to try and tie in some kind of two factor certificate or wireless settings i am curious how others are handling the devices connecting to their internal networks

Why is pre licensed terminal emulation asking for a licence on one of my customers unit?
Hi, i have just loaded 10 units with pre-licensed software (mc9090, wm5, ver:7.0.133) for a customers and the last unit he powers up is asking for a licence? Can someone advise why?

Remap function keys
Hi,
I'm trying to remap F1 to [ALT][F1] with the Wavelink TE Android's version for a Panasonic FZ-A1, as far as I know F1 stands for 3B00 , but I don't know wich scape secunce stands for [ALT] key, and hoy to concatenate it with the [F1].
¿Does any of you has an idea about how to solve it?

We are trying to read RFID tag using RFIO object Studio Client on MC9090-G Handheld Device. And not understand how switch input for RFIO between laser barcode scanning and RFID reader?
This metod https://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-29973 not suitable for me , because Wavelink Symbol 9090 WM5.0 Studio Client not contain RFID Enable Key .

Cut check digit when scanning EAN13 barcode
We have a Motorola MC3100 Device using Wavelink Studio Client for the Motorola (Symbol) MC3100.
When scanning EAN13 barcodes outside the application, it was configured and ignores the check digit and only presents the other 12 digits. However, inside Wavelink, it reads and inputs all 13 digits. It completely ignores the configurations "No Scanner Configuration" and "UPCE0 Options".
How can I configure to have the same behaviour, read and input only the 12 digits of data, do not present the last check digit?

on MC3190 when we use Telnet CE ( any version) the level of the sound is not enough loud to be hear by a end user in the warehouse

telnetCE licence error
Hi,
I have a problem with a Datalogic gun, The gun won't get a licence on licensing server.
- Licence server was up and running (other gun was ok with licence) ;
- licence server port was open ;
- gun was able to ping licence server ;
- re-image with a new OS firmware ;
- TelnetCE 7.2
Anyone have a idea for this issue?

TelnetCE Host Type WEB is not Licensed on MC9190?
Hi Friends!
We have 5pc Motorola Symbol MC9190-G on Windows CE 6.
We want to use TelnetCE 7.3.146 or 7.0.94 (that installed) as Industrial Browser. But if I use Host Type "WEB", Demo-License message appear.
I read post Pre-Licensed Terminal Emulation Client for Motorola Devices, at top of page I saw NOT WEB Emulation.
We need to buy license for use TelnetCE as Industrial Browser?

wavelink studio client sometimes halt the system with MC3190
Hi,
I am facing problems on motorola MC3190 CE6 with wavelink studio client.
The version of wavelink studio client is 5.4.1.20 which should be the last version.
The OS OEM version of MC3190 CE6 is ENG OS CE6OEM 4.32.04.
the problems are
1. after launched the studio client, the handheld system doesn't follow the time setting to suspend itself beyond the time of idle. However, the suspend function is resumed after the studio client exited.
2. Ocassionly, the system is halt and screen is turned off. The system is no response when the user press the power button untill cold boot the system by pressed button 1+9+power button.

Cannot define WEP key with lower case alpha values
In Wavelink SE version 5.3.0.572, we are trying to define a lower case WEP key as part of a network profile that manages WLAN settings for our devices, but the Key 1 field automatically converts any alpha values to uppercase letters. The customer has all his wireless access points and SSID's configured to use a lower case WEP key. Is there a way to define lower case keys for WEP in the network profile?

Define a minimum time elapse between pressions of Enter key
Dear all,
I have Wavelink WEB emulator (7.3.71) running on a Motorola MC9190 with Windows CE 6.
I need to manage the rate at which users can post the Enter key to the emulator, because if they press this button repeatedely with small time gap the web server who is listening gets confused. I need to define a time threshold so that the emulator, after the first pression of Enter key, accepts the next one only after this interval has expired. A kind of time watchdog.
I hope I was clear in my explanation.
