just purchased datalogic Falcon x3 guns, Connect Pro was already set up for Kymans. the term proxy is causing the guns to run extremely slow. if i turn it off they are fast. Not sure how to resovle. as far as i know the software I previously installed is still the latest version of Term proxy. can't seem to get help out of Datalogic and so far cannot get help out of

Does Velocity support function keys?
Hello,
I'm doing an initial implementation and have had issues with the function keys not working with the industrial browser. I'm using SAP ITS mobile and my test RF is a 'PSION Teklogix Workabout Pro3'.
Are the function key issue's that are prevalent in the industrial browser resolved in the Velocity browser?

Script Error with Velocity Direct Connect to Host
Ran into an issue this past weekend when our velocity server crashed, all devices started using the direct connect to host as planned.
However, once to the host (SAP), users would input their login credential and get stuck when they press logon.
I was able to replicate this on my laptop using a Velocity client and received the script error below.
Anyone have any ideas?

I cant seem to get this to work. I am using the
StartupDelay:

This registry causes a delay by adding setting X number of milliseconds (up to a minute) in AvaInit.exe before launching the Monitor.exe.
Is the key value Decimal or Hex??#
I need around 30 seconds of delay to try and resolve a problem with Psion WorkaboutPro G3 that starts 'Total Recall' on a cold reset (there is no .PFL Total Recall clone file being used so the utility times out eventually) but this appears to be preventing the enabler from launching and executing a client application.

I have Motorola MC3190 and TelnetCE 73197. I need select UTF8 in "Display Language". It is demand for correct display Russian language in the programm. I do not see UTF8 in list "Display Language".

F3 key create Ò in VT100 terminal emulation on MC9090G
We use the Wavelink TE to connect to a barcodesystem . The emulation serverlanguage is set to UTF8 to show some german characters correctly.
Now the developer of the barcodesystem created a menupoint where we have to send a F3 to get a list back. When hit the F3 key on the scanner I get a Ò character.
So the question is how to send the F3 ?
In a terminal from a PC / Mac it's working

Are there any pre-built TelnetCE scripts for GS1 barcode parsing?
Does Wavelink have any scripting libraries that include GS1 barcode handing? I have a scenario where I have to parse information out of a GS1 barcode scan into multiple fields or persistent variables based on the Application Identifiers within the barcode. I've developed the pseucode for accomplishing this and am about to port it into TelnetCE scripting. I just wanted to make sure this didn't already exist before I spend my time building it from scratch. I have to imagine other Wavelink customers have ran into this situation before as it's a standard symbology for the pharmaceutical industry.

Directly from Motorola or from Wavelink?
I've found document on motorola website with part numbers of wavelink telnetce.
Document says that SWE-82990-01 is license 2-in-1 for all device types.
But this site http://www.barcodediscount.com/catalog/symbol/part-swe-82990-01.htm says the following:
Symbol SWE-82990-01
TN Client (Active Sync) for MC55, MC65, MC70, MC75, ES400 and ET1, VT/HP Emulation.
I'm totally confused. Will this part number fit MC3910-S ?

Cannot activate a license TelnetCE via Licence Server
Hello, I try to activate a license TelnetCE on Motoral device via Lisence Server.
My steps:
1. I installed Licence Server on computer and then I added licences.
2. I installed a client on Motorola device with license server settings as :146.212.32.15:1820
3. When I launch a terminal, it stucks in atteption to connect server.
The version 7.3 matched for both: server lisence and version of client.
In log file I see connection log:

Package Builder - Copy Command
I'm working on creating a package to install StartUpCtrl on our devices as one of our facilities uses DataWedge. Since DataWedge gets wiped out on a cold boot, they recommend using StartupCtrl to make it persistent. I'm able to get StartUpCtrl to install fine, but the COPY portion of my package does not seem to be working. I'm sure it's because I have a syntax issue, but I'm not able to figure out what it is. Package Builder does not give me any errors when I validate the script. I am running a mix of 9190's and 9090's both running Windows CE 6 and 5, respectively.

Connection Terminated after waking from suspend/sleep mode on WT41N0 devices.
I was working on WT41N0 sleep timeout parameter, and set it to sleep every 2 minutes. However, after I wake the device from suspend/sleep mode, it will terminate the connection.

Toggling between sessions in TE
If I have configured TE with two or more Host Profiles and I have active connections to two or more Telnet/SSH sessions is there any way to toggle between the open sessions besides using the drop down file menu? We are trying to avoid giving users access to the menu system at all.
Ideally I would want to use a keypress to toggle between my active sessions. I thought that this might be possible using scripting with the Run_Application command but it seems a bit convoluted.
My theory was to have the following logic (understand this is pseudocode):
Script Session1Toggle
Activate on (Keypress XYZ)
Run_application (TelnetCE.exe --host "HostProfile2name")
Script Session2Toggle
Activate on (Keypress XYZ)
Run_application (TelnetCE.exe --host "HostProfile1name")
Would this work as a toggle between active sessions or would it launch completely new instances of TE with each call?
Are there any other available methods?

I want to build with the Package Builder Wavelink a package and send in the Flash (\ CK_FFS) on the terminal CK31c with Win CE 4.2.
What needs in the Package Builder as (Destination Drive, Destination Folder) are provided so that the packet is transmitted to the CK31c?
I've "APPS" or "C" tried as Destination Drive, but the package is not transmitted!
When I select Destination Drive "Windows", the transmission works on CK31c in the Windows directory.
The following information on the CK31:

How to read TID + EPC + RESERVED + USER MEMORY in the same time?

I'm sorry for to opened in the last days two wrong request, and I removed them, but I studied a lot the problem I have and now I found what I would to ask.
When I use the Wavelink Telnet CE with RFID scan, I noticed that the data read is only the EPC. I tried to change the setup of RFID MEMORY BANK and RFID MEMORY BANK FORMAT using the different options, TID, MEMORY BANK but I found only the TID or MEMORY BANK datas (if I use MEMORY BANK it gives me 8 hex chars + EPC data) but not the union of the two datas.
For example I take 4 RFID's labels and checked with the scanner that they have 5 different TIDs (for semplify I think they have 01, 02, 03 values).
Now I create on these labels the EPC datas (for semplify I'll give them the same value for all: AAAA).
Now I have 3 labels with TID=01 EPC=AAAA and TID=02 EPC=AAAA and TID=03 EPC=AAAA. If I use the scanner on the Wavelink Telnet CE (a Motorola 3190Z handheld) to scan these RFID labels, it read only one label with EPC=AAAA 'cause all have the same EPC value.
If I use the VBRFIDSample6 software in Visual Basic installed on the handheld, it gives me the same result, one record with EPC=AAAA but read 3 times.
If I try to read only the TID, it gives me only 1 TID and not the others (read 3 times) and not the original 01 or 02 or 03 values but another value.
I don't understand if there's a mistake when I write the labels and make the wrong operation overwriting the original TID (I don't know if it's possible and I know isn't possibile) or if there's a setup or a parameter on the scanner Wavelink software to let me to read not only TID, or EPC, or User Memory, or Reserved, but all these datas in the same time.

Studio COM's Future
Hello! My software company uses Wavelink Studio COM to create scanner applications and we are concerned that we haven't seen any new releases of the Wavelink Studio COM Server software since 3.7 back in 2003.
Can someone shed some light in regards to this product line's future? Is there a new version coming?

Can I run multiple installations of ConnectPro?
Different than having multiple instances - I want to have multiple installations. Currently, if I have multiple instances representing different sites, all sites have to take a hit when I restart services. If I have each site with its own installation and multiple installations on the same server I can avoid this.
Is this possible?

How to use automated Licensing with "&" Character in Customer Name?

i tried to use a automated licensing on a device with the file path to the license.xml.
(file:///Flash File Store/license.xml)
i mentioned that this doesnt work in this case.
i check the manual registration, this works fine.
after viewing the license.xml in a Browser i only see a broken xml File.
So i think the xml Parser hangs on the "&" Character in the Company Name.
Solution:
i change the XML Character Entitie with his replacement (&)
then the License File works.
