RDP for Windows CE6 - TelnetCE - Enabler - AvalancheMC

Hi, I've recently discovered hosting our Web based WMS on a Terminal Server optimizes device performance by 2 times.


Device specs:

Moto MC9190

Windows CE6

OEM 04.37

Enabler 5.3-46

 

To achieve this, my solution is to add a RDP shortcut on the Wavelink Enabler which will start the session to the terminal server.

 

Problems:

-CE6 is not designed to save RDP credentials after a cold boot (There is no way around this). I need auotmatic login for compliance reasons.

-A warm boot will sometimes erase the RDP credentials too. So this is my main road block.

 

Questions:

-Does anyone have experience with using RDP on Windows Mobile devices?

-Is it possible to configure Telnet Client Emulator to act as a Remote Desktop connection to connect to a server?

 

All I need it seems is to have a web page hosted on resources external from the Mobile device. The MC9190 does not have the resources optimally run a WMS web session.

-Once you think you have thought outside the box, you must think outside that box.

 

I'm open to questions.

Disconnecting Telnet CE Web Emulation session and reconnecting again would display blank screen

Problem: When disconnecting Web emulation session and trying to reconnect it, it would show blank white screen forever.

 

 

Details:

 

 

When I start TelnetCE for first time and run host profile with web emulation it displays "Unlicensed Version" screen for brief time

and then successfully connects to my web application. The issue occurs when I disconnect the emulation session and try to reconnect

and try to reconnect again to web emulation session again, the screen becomes white forever where it should display "Unlicensed  Version"

and at this point I cannot do anything except to kill TelnetCE program from Task Manager.

 

Device Specifications:

 

TelnetCE Versions: 7.0.94, 7.3.237

Scanner: MC9190

OS: Windows CE, Windows Mobile

barcode scanner on telnetCE, device intermec CN51

Hello

ii worked before on cn70 and telnetce, but now i received new intermec cn51.

Installed:

WLTE_UNI_WM65_LANG_7_3_225_AS.exe

on telnetCE, barcode scanner dont write data, outside TelnetCE screen, works fine

 

changed this parameters but no luck

Emulation Parameters:

    1. Scanner then Common and "Disable Scanner" to YES

    2. Scanner then Common and "Use Scanner As Keyboard Wedge" to ENABLE

 

could you help me?

need to install cab file to intermec CK3X device

Hi

Need to install customer application to the above Intermec CK3X device.  Customer application is cabbed up but  does not automatically install.

Would anyone be able to suggest method to install this cab automatically on this intermec device?  I was thinking create package(via package builder)  and use the wceload.exe cmd in the post install script.  But, wceload.exe is not visible on the device so not sure if this will work or not.  i do know there is another method with intermec devices where you can copy the cab to the flashfilestore\cabfiles folder and reboot the device.  this installs the cab file successfully.  not sure how to code this in the package builder.  any assistance would be appreciated.

How to take over a Wavelink configuration

Hello, I have some Motorola MC9100 and I'd like to take over the configuration from one device to another device. I heard that I could copy the Termcfg.bin from the application\wavelink folder (via Active Sync) to another MC9100 but that don't work. If I looked in the Termcfg.bin I didn't find my configuration profile.

In which file is the configured profile from my Wavelink Telnet (Version 7.3.40) saved?

 

Another possibiltiy to take over the profile should be the Wavelink TelnetCE Configuration Utility but I can't find a download. Is this software only available for

maintenance agreement?

 

I hope you can help me :-)

Avalanche Console 6.1 - Configure Package: Install java

Hello,

 

I have a Windows Server 2012r2 running. Java 8.45 is installed. I-Explorer version 11.0.9600.17801:

 

When I want to edit a package, it shows me "Install Java"

 

Java configuration:

Java content in browser: enabled

Exceptionlist: http://localhost:8080

 

I-Explorer configuration:

Local intranet medium-low

 

Any ideas ?

Hi everyone,

 

I have a probleme with Motorola WT41N0 on Avalanche V6.1

How to disable "App Center" at startup ?

 

In the Enbler, I use the register key "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SVCStart\1\Configurations\Display\@=1" but it changes nothing.

 

Can you help me?

KeyMaps.asc file not loaded.

Device was working three Month without any problems

Enabling 802.11a on Skorpio X3

Hi, we'd like to try out using 5ghz wifi on our Skorpio X3 guns. I can set the Radio Mode to ABG rates full in the Summit Client Utility and contact the Avalanche SE server over our 5ghz network, but as soon as the config is pushed to the gun the default setting of BG rates full is restored and the gun is no longer able to see the 5ghz SSID as it is not looking in the 5ghz range. I assume it's achieved via Custom Properties in the Network Profile / WLAN Settings area but I don't know what the appropriate Property Name and Value should be set to. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Wavelink Starting Automatically

Hello

 

We have a Motorola Symbol MC9090 and from some days ago the WaveLink software started to start automatically and I don't know how to return to the Windows Mobile main screen to access the other programs. I tried to restart the machine but it didn't work. Now the only screen it shows is one written: No Host Connection <Enter> to Connect


Follow a screen shot attached to this discussion.

 

Anyone knows how can I get out of this screen?

I am trying to write a script that will capture user login information and send it to a log file on the scanner. I modified the example script slightly and am wondering how to remove the Ask feature. I don't want to ask the user, I just want to capture this information in the background so i can report it. The user should not even know the script is running.

TelnetCE Web Emulation HTTPS

Hi community

 

I've trying to access a web application (SAP ITS Mobile) using the Web emulation through TelnetCE and with HTTPS protocol.

 

The problem is that when I try to reach the application, industrial browser request me a certificate to enter to the URL, even this is not required by the application, but the strange is that if I try to access the same app using the IE browser of the device, the system request the same data and selecting the certificate listed (also listed when using TelnetCE), the initial login page is displayed and after the login, everything works fine. But when I try to use TelnetCE to access the same application, the system show me the same certificate that is listed in IE, but when selecting this one I receive a error saying that "Client authentication certificate needed", could you know how to solve that, have you ever seen this problem when accessing HTTPS web applications?

TelnetCE License MC9060-G (pre-installed recovery?)

Hello,

I had a preinstalled TelnetCE license on a Symbol handheld device that was sent off for repair. When we received the device back from repair, the os had been flashed and reinstalled so the pre-installed license is no longer there, and TelnetCE only works in demo mode. Is there a way to correct this issue since the device should still have a valid license for the TelnetCE?
