I am having an issue where while using the TelnetCE application on MC92N0 devices running android it fails to decode GS1 barcodes. The scan settings for TelnetCE are manipulated in the Datawedge settings on the device and I have enabled GS1 symbology in the correct location. However when I attempt to scan the GS1 barcode it does not decode it. If I run DWdemo app on the device and scan the GS1 barcode it decodes correctly. So the issue seems to be isolated to TelnetCE.

Adding extra digit when scanning code 39
Hello,
We have TC70’s that add digits to code 39 barcodes, using Terminal Emulation.
The fix I have found for this is. When I go into Datawedge - Profile0 - Decoder Params – Code 39 – Verify Check Digit I check this box, go back into TE and the barcode scans fine without adding the extra digit.
When I restart the scanner and go back to Datawedge the Verify Check Digit box is unchecked when scanning a code 39 barcode again it adds the extra digit again.
I have been told this is not a data wedge issue and is TE related.
The only thing that I can see that would help or add a digit in TE would be the Scanner settings but we don’t make any settings changes in the group.

SAP time out error 400
Hello,
We are using the Wavelink TE industrial browser.
I'd like to know how to handle the browser error 400.
This happens when a user's logon has timed out in SAP.
I would like to have the scanner go back to the site that is configured in the host profile.
Right now it stays on the error screen.
We have the browser menu hidden, so the only way for the user to get back to the URL in the host profile is to re-boot the device.
There is an option in the emualtion coniguration to re-direct the user to a URL if there is a 404 error.
Is it possible to do something like this when tere is a 400 error?

Play beep sound
Hi,
I tried two options to play a beep sound when an error occurs in SAP ITS mobile.
1. BGSOUND
2. IDA_BEEP.
Both did not play the beep sound on the velocity browser on Intermec CK71 RF device. But, both played the sound when I used the internet explorer on Intermec CK71 RF device!
Please let me know if need to use something else to play sound.

eine Naurtech-CETERM (5.7/5.9) zu installieren.
Nach der Installation kommt folgende Meldung:
Wenn ich die Naurtech-CETERM dann aufrufe, kommt folgende Meldung:
Ist die Naurtech_version nicht kompatibel mit dem Handheld-OS ? Hat jemand da ähnliche Erfahrungen gesammelt.

Error: Agent disconnect (Agent out of resources)
Hi,
above message appears when attempting connect motorola MU (WM 6.5) to AVA SE 5 server. The devices have been connecting to the server previously with no issue.
ip addresses are all still available and valid for the devices in their relevant groups. I notice the error message on these devices - AGENT out of resources , whereas reference in the forum discussions specifies DEVICE out of resources, so perhaps valid ip's is not the issue. Is anyone able to offer solution?

Scan Handler (Enter after barcode scan) not working

I'm having problems with a Motorla scanner and Wavelink.
Everything (i need) that is configured in Emulation Parameters works, but the only thing that does not work is a "return" on barcode scan (Scan Handler).
My Wavelink version is TelnetCE 7.2.00 and i have a licence for VTHP.
I have also tried to use A(0)[A\\0D] but that does not work either.
The manual found on this page does not help either:

Is this a Wavelink version problem? Or am i doing something else wrong?
Scan Terminator is also \0D:
I have re-installed the Wavelink software on the Scanner, but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have any idea that i'm doing wrong?

I have previously only used Windows CE but we are looking at rolling out Android devices. We are using the Telnet Emulation App and was wondering the best way to copy the configuration so i can deploy it to other devices. Eg Font sizes, Host settings etc.

Hi i'm having difficulties using function keys with Motorola WT41N0 Telnet CE 7.3.192 and VT200 emulation. Random charachtes or error message key not recognized is diplayed if i'm trying to use Function keys (F1; F2 etc.) Any ideas?

Issue Enter After Barcode Scan
Hello:
I am currently testing a Zebra WT6000 and an RS6000 ring scanner. I have set up a project within the Velocity Console (Ver. 1.2.101) and have deployed that project to the WT6000. When I scan a barcode, I need to issue and Enter key and am not sure how to do this. DataWedge is also installed on the WT6000 with a Velocity Profile and I have enabled Send ENTER key in the basic data formatting. However, when I exit the DataWedge application it does not seem to save that information.

How to send data from a thrid android app to Velocity
My goal is to send data to Velocity client. For this reason I am using an intent on my custom Application. the code is the following:

- Is the above (com.wavelink.intent.action.EMDK.SEND) action string valid for calling corresponding Velocity Action? If not what is the corrcet string?
- The above method would like to be called on a key press. What script to I need to write in Velocity console in order to call a method of another application?

Appending last octet of IP for terminal ID not working correctly
Using telnet client 7.0.12. Im trying to create a workstation ID of "rf" and the last octet of the IP. Everytime I do this, it ends up being RF101. I dont know where the 101 comes from....it isnt from my IP address. Any ideas?

I am trying to update to CEterm 7.3 and keep getting the following: 'update failed. unable to initialize the rapi interface'. Any ideas??
I am using a windows 8.1 machine and am trying to update my MC 5590 with CEterm 7.3. I have 7.0 on it right now. But I need to up grade to 7.3. I have tryed un-installing 7.0 but that didn't work. Wavelink 90_05_AS TelnetCE works fine. But when I use Wavelink MOT_MC55_WM6 TelnetCE to install 7.3 I get the error.
